I'm a Ninja, I'm a Ninja

Monday, November 28, 2011

I took these photos of Diego back in late September, I just have  not gotten around to posting them. I like to say Diego is my faithful model, but really he requires a little convincing sometimes. Other times he WANTS to have his picture taken and suggests poses that he wants to do. This particular evening I wanted to take some photos at golden hour, so I convinced Diego to get dressed, brush his unruly hair(we are trying to grow his hair out) and show me his "moves" as he says. We headed outside to the alley behind our house where the homes and trees behind blocked the sun. He loved being able to act like a ninja, dinosaur hunter, power ranger, and a super hero- a combination of everything he loves, and was happy to oblige his picture crazy Momma. After he took his mandatory photos, I sat on the ground and just let him play whatever he was playing and capture my little boy, just being a boy. I love his crazy imagination.

Dude

I can't get enough of this Little Dude. He definitely keeps me on my toes, but I love him so much. He is very stubborn but also genuinely sweet. I think Diego has influenced his demeanor a lot. He acts more like a 4 year old than my little two year old. I'am lucky that have two boys that enjoy learning. He is still not one for pictures, I don't think I have any pics of him looking straight at the camera. I love his  little free spirit. Oh, and we are still not a diaper free home.

Just Because

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

The boys have been more than happy to have a little break from being forced encouraged to smile for my camera. I have been busy photographing many adorable families these last few weeks I barely have time to take pictures of my babies. I think this break was a good thing too. Diego has been coming up with crazy picture poses and ideas that he wants.  We have also been enjoying our Fall weather, and anticipating the colder days ahead of us. I have also been compiling a HUGE Christmas list that the boys are constantly adding to and that I must get started on attacking.
