Crafty Babies
Saturday, June 25, 2011
For Fathes Day the boys and I decided we were going to make Daddy home made cards. I wanted to make their hand print into a heart shape and let them decorate the cards. Diego thought it was the coolest thing to have paint all over his hands. He was overly excited so his cute little heart looked like a blob of hands. He went to town with the dinosaur stickers. Dylan like always did not want to participate in the hand print heart, so he just scribbled all over his card. Dylan's card making was cut short when he decided he wanted to draw on the walls with a marker. Two of my nieces were over and also helped the boys as well as make cards for their Daddy's. Diego was so happy about his masterpiece and told Daddy as soon as he got home. I had to remind him it was a secret and he had to wait a few days before it was Fathers Day.

Embrace the Camera
Thursday, June 23, 2011
If you know me, you know I HATE having my picture taken. I would much rather stay behind the camera. When I find that I'am in pictures I never share them with anyone, I rather keep those to myself and for my boys one day. So I have been trying to be IN more pictures with my babies. Today I decided to try out my self timer on my camera and we finally got a few I love. The boys thought it was pretty fun to hurry and pose and enjoyed counting the flashing light, which is pretty awesome because they are not very cooperative models most of the time. We might have to try that more often. I must warn you this is me all natural, after a long day, no make up, messy hair, with two dirty, shirtless babies with crazy hair and dirty faces.

Mavs Nation
In case you missed it, the Dallas Mavericks are the 2010-2011 NBA Champions! And if you were not able to attend the parade last week, you missed out. I have been a long time Mavs fanatic, ever since Jason Kidd played with the Mavs back in the day. I was still in high school then and I was in LOVE with him. Even when he left I still was a huge fan and followed his career. So you can imagine how happy I was when he came back to Dallas. Oh, and at one point, pre -baby and pre marriage days, I had two baby turtles that I named Steve Nash and Dirk I will admit I might have shed a few tears that awesome night when they BEAT the Heat and became THE CHAMPIONS! I might have also sent my friend a text saying this day was up there in emotion and happiness much like the day I gave birth to my babies-unforgettable. I spent the next two days watching ESPN , replaying highlights and interviews with the players. I knew I would be at the parade. My sister and niece joined me, and although we got a late start and not so great spot in the crowd anxiously waiting for the parade to start, it was beyond amazing. A sea of blue, white and green gathered throughout Downtown Dallas. We even chatted up some complete strangers on the DART, who were all on the way to the parade as well. It was hot but totally worth it, once you got a glimpse of the players passing us by. The crowd cheered and chanted, and it only got louder when the gracious and humble Dirk floated by.

Now I Know My ABC's
Saturday, June 4, 2011
Dylan surprised my sister yesterday with his genius little self. I wish I could take the credit for teaching my two year old his alphabet but I can't. Sadly, I think he learned his alphabet through Iphone Apps and Nick Jr.
