Last week we took a little family road to trip to San Antonio, to see Shamu. First we made a stop at Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels. The last time we went Diego was about a year old, and we only had one baby to worry about. The boys had so much fun in the water! They obviously do not get that from me. We pretty much stayed in the kiddie pools, but the boys were satisfied with that.
The next day we made our way to Sea World. Boy was it hot! We watched one of the Shamu show's and made our way down to the water park until it cooled down. By the time it did, and we decided to walk around the park, we were all worn out, and the kids fell asleep sitting in the stroller.
We also headed down to the Riverwalk one night after we had dinner. Again, it was hot, but it was so pretty. Jesus said it reminded him a lot of Mexico City.
Don't think this was a stress free vacation, with two wild boys, things aren't always that easy. Most of the time Diego was upset because the hotel cable did not have Nick Jr, or Scooby Doo. Often he would say he wanted to go home and " no more cation Mama". So I'm sure you can imagine how happy he was when we told him were going home. The whole trip he said "Are we home yet Dada?" and I would reply "No not yet, but almost there". When were 5 minutes from our house I asked him "Are we home yet Diego?" he said "No, not yet. Almost". Gotta love that kid.
