My BFF from high school just gave birth to her second daughter, Alexi Guadalupe. I had the honor of taking some newborn pics of the sweetest baby ever, she was such a trooper. It ALMOST makes me want to have another one.

At the beginning of the year, I think we were all nervously anticipating my niece's 18th birthday and her high school graduation. It's both exciting and sad, when you see the little girl you love so much, grow up into a young woman. My niece is actually more like my sister, and I loved every minute of these last 18 years.
It was such an exciting and long awaited day. I don't know if she realizes how proud of her we are.
Prom Night 2010
A month ago, I had the honor of taking pics of her on Prom Night.
I titled this picture her dancing shoes, she did inform me the next day, these were not "dancing shoes" and killed her feet. Beauty is pain.
My absolute favorite picture: I love me some Jersey Shore, so as soon as the DJ played David Guetta's song "Sexy Chick" everyone started fist pumping just for me. I'm glad I captured this. Her Grad party was a two day celebration, she was on top of the world.

I think it just hit her, she is now an adult.

I know your future is bright, and you will accomplish great things. You will always have your family, no longer holding your hand, but walking along side you. I know I say this all the time, but 18 years ago I was upset when you were born and you were not a boy. Now, I can't imagine not having you in my life, I love you baby girl. To the Moon and back.

15 Months!
Your Favorite Things at 15 Months Old
1) Music and Dancing.
You dance to anything and everything you hear. Your Grandpa thinks you will be a musician when you grow up.
2) Sleeping
You tend to sleep in until 9am or 10 am most mornings, wish gives me some more much needed rest. You can take 20 naps sometimes, especially when we are in the car.
You are my little taste tester. You will try anything and eat almost anything, except for raisins. You hate raisins. You love corndogs, pizza, spaghetti, cheeseburgers, chicken, rice, beans.
4) Television
You love to sit down and watch tv with your brother. Beside the usual stuff like Yo Gabba Gabba, Max and Ruby, Dora, and Diego, you also love watching Micky Mouse Clubhouse, The Wiggles, and Scooby Doo.
5) Cuddling
Yep, you can't get enough of snuggling with Mom and Dad. I know eventually you will refuse to nap with us, or come near us, so we welcome it. You love to be held, by anyone, you are as happy as can be sitting on someones lap.
6)Talking
Well they might not be completely formed or understandable words, but you love to talk. You do say "Stop", "No", "cheese", and a bunch of other stuff that I swear sound like actual words.
7)Exploring
Since your now an experienced walker, you never sit down.You walk around all day looking for stuff, pulling stuff out of drawers, from under the beds, my purse.
8) Daddy
You are definitely a Daddy's Boy. You love your Daddy. You cry when he walks out the room, or the house. As soon as he comes home you light up and you smile and giggle until he picks you up.
9)Family
Your cousins keep you on your toes, and you love to follow them around and they love you so much they play with you all day long. Whenever you see your Aunt Amy you get so excited and reach your arms up until she carries you.
10) Getting Your Way
You have learned to cry if you don't get what you want. I think it's almost cute when you pout, lay on the floor with your head buried in your hands. Then you stop and look over your shoulder to make sure I'm watching you.
11)Pacifier
That thing is your best buddy, mostly when you sleep. Little do you know that Mommy has a plan to rid you of that thing forever.
12) Kisses
You have learned to give kissed on command, little sloppy kisses. You also try to mimic the smooch sound Mommy does. I L.O.V.E your kisses.
13) Center of Attention
You like to be the one everyone is looking at, laughing with, talking to, making funny noises to. You can't get enough. And you repay us with your giggling or laughing fits where to lean your head back as if to let it all out.
14) Big Brother
Yes sometimes Diego picks on you, and pushes you around, but you love him all the same. When you are playing peacefully you are laughing up a storm or chasing him around. He loves you too, even though he calls you Worm.
15)Mommy
Not to toot my own horn, but you love your Mommy. Only Mommy can make you feel better, put you down for a nap when your fussy, or carry you when your brother makes you cry. Your Mommy also gives you the independence you crave, like feeding yourself.

Almost 3!

I can't believe my baby boy will turn 3 in a few short months! I feel like we just celebrated his 2nd birthday just yesterday. I hate that he is no longer my baby, but I'am enjoying watching him learn and grow. Everyday is a new adventure with both boys, and I'm living it up all I can, since I'm pretty sure we will not be adding another child to our loving family.
Speaking of parties...
I can't wait for the new Toy Story Movie!
